As you know, our daughters are 10 years apart. No, we didn't plan it that way. In fact, I never thought we'd have more children. It just never happened. With Bailey, I was pregnant the month after I stopped taking birth control, so I just assumed that when we decided to have more children, it would be a piece of cake. WRONG!! I don't even remember when I stopped taking birth control after Bailey was born, but the months came & went and I never got pregnant. I knew I didn't want to see a fertility specialist because I figured if it was God's plan for us to have more kids, we'd have more kids. Chris, of course, never lost hope. As the oldest of five boys, he loved the idea of a big family and was never fully sold on the idea of having an only child, even one as spectacular as Bailey :D So, anyway, the question I FINALLY got yesterday was why were my children's ages so far apart? Had a had more than one husband? If the circumstances had been different, I might have said, "Yes, I currently have 4 husbands and they all rock my world!!" But I didn't say that. I said what I usually say when I feel like I have to explain the age difference: "This is how God chose to bless us." And we truly are blessed . . .
See you soon!!
