Wee Play Zoo Day

Last week, I felt a teeny, tiny bit adventurous, so I took Morgan to the zoo on a 30-degree morning and we spent a couple of hours at the wee play zoo, an indoor playspace filled with lots of imagination-building toys. We lucked out that day and ran into a friend and his daughter, so the girls played together and had a fantastic time!! I've never seen Morgan really explore her surroundings and make a space her own but she definitely did that day. It was a great morning and I can't wait to take my sweet little girl back to the zoo!!

Bounce House USA

This was our very first adventure at a bounce house and it went pretty smoothly. Morgan ran around like she was on speed for the first 30 minutes, but once she figured things out, she had a great time. She went down the big slide by herself, but her favorite area was the mid-size playspace with a ball pit and a slide. She went down that slide 100 times and squealed with delight every time! She literally ran my butt off, so I'll have to train a little before we go back!!

Breakfast at Tupelo Honey

Well, as usual, I've been crafting away and keeping my other blog up-to-date, while this blog has suffered. I promise I've been taking lots and lots of pictures of my precious angels! Last Friday morning, we went to Tupelo Honey Cafe for breakfast and it was delicious!!  Their biscuits are heavenly and Morgan enjoyed hers with a bit of honey. Her daddy graciously licked the excess off her fingers! I had a gigantic blueberry granola pancake with maple pepper bacon and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten! Although, I only ate a fraction of it because it was so huge. Morgan ate a scrambled egg and bacon and a little bit of my pancake along with her biscuit. This is definitely not a no-carb place to dine!! And, boy, do we love it!!
